The Canadian federal government, in a statement, announced that it has extended the temporary exemption from indirect taxes on gasoline, diesel fuel, and aviation fuel until the end of January 2027. The decision was taken in response to the increase in the price of oil and with the aim of reducing pressure on consumers and businesses.
