Special interview with Jane Lewison, researcher and Iranologist

After the success of “The Flowers Project,” Lewison has launched the “Golestan Project” with the aim of creating a global reference for recording and presenting a century of Iran’s performing arts, from 1880 to 1980 CE.

In an interview with Niloufar Mansouri, an Iran International reporter, Lewison says that this digital archive includes a wide range of twentieth-century solo performances, plays, radio programs, local music, 78 rpm records, film, theater, periodicals, and private archives—works that have been indexed and can be searched via relevant keywords.
