The semiofficial news agency Mehr, quoting the governor of Assaluyeh, claimed that two projectiles hit the fishing dock of Bonud in the county.

Eskandar Pasalar said that the incident occurred at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, 18 Tir, and that as a result 10 fishing boats caught fire.

Earlier, the IRGC-affiliated news agency Fars had also reported, before Thursday noon, that at least the sound of two explosions was heard in Bushehr.

Ihsan Jahaniyan, the political deputy of the governor-general of Bushehr, also claimed in an interview with the state news agency IRNA that on Thursday noon several points in Bushehr province, including the vicinity of the nuclear power plant and the Chaghadak military base, were attacked.
