🔻Saudi Arabia: We will respond decisively to the Houthi attacks

Saudi Arabia said it would respond “decisively” to the attacks by the Houthis.

In the latest attacks by the Iran-aligned Houthis using ballistic missiles and drones, 13 people were injured in Saudi Arabia.

The Houthis began targeting Saudi ships in the Red Sea after announcing a naval blockade.

They took control of the eastern coast of the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb strait last week; a strait whose importance has increased even more as the Strait of Hormuz has been disrupted.

Meanwhile, it was announced that today, at France’s request, an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council on Bab el-Mandeb would be held in New York.
