Saeed Jalili’s team (Nabavians and Rezaei) removed from the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission’s executive board

🔹 With a vote by the members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Ibrahim Azizi was selected as the head of the commission. Abbas Moqtadaei and Amir Hayat-Moqaddam became the first and second deputy chairs, respectively; Hasan Qashqavi became the spokesperson; and Behnam Saeedi and Yaqub Rezaazadeh were also appointed as the first and second secretaries of the commission’s executive board.

🔹 Seyed Mahmoud Nabavian, who previously served as the first vice chair of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission during the first two years of the twelfth term of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and Ebrahim Rezaei, who was the commission’s spokesperson in this same period based on the vote of these same members, after criticism of the memorandum of understanding and the ceasefire process, were removed from the commission’s executive board
