🚨 Risk of immediate execution #ArifKhoshkar
Arif Khoshkar, a 26-year-old young man and a brave protester in 1401, is now just a step away from the gallows. One month after the nationwide protests, he was arrested along with his brother, Arfan; an arrest that marked the beginning of a painful, bitter nightmare. During the protests, Arif was hit by a gunfire round and injured, but instead of receiving medical treatment, he was subjected in custody to the most severe and unbearable forms of psychological and physical torture.
To force coerced confessions, interrogators doubled the pressure on him and on his brother—so much so that under these horrific tortures and constant threats, they made this innocent young man take the blame for a false scenario of the killing of a Basij member named Salman Amirahmadi. After 4 years of uncertainty and torture, now the Judiciary has transferred Arif to solitary confinement in Qezel Hesar Prison for the execution of the sentence, without having the slightest evidence and even without permission to have a lawyer.
He has now been in solitary confinement for two days, and according to reports, his sentence is expected to be carried out on Wednesday night simultaneously with the dawn call to prayer.
His family is in an extremely critical condition, living in deadly fear, and is awaiting help from public opinion so that this suffering can be heard.
