Reuters, on Thursday, citing a U.S. official, reported that attacks by the Islamic Republic this week damaged several U.S. military aircraft at the Al-Salt airbase in Jordan.

The official said that an A-10 Thunderbolt 2 attack aircraft, known as the “Warthog,” was targeted and lost one wing. About eight F-15 fighter jets were also damaged slightly, but returned to service.

CBS News also reported on Wednesday, 18 Mehr, citing informed sources, that these aircraft were damaged in attacks carried out from the evening of Tuesday until early Wednesday morning. According to these sources, no American personnel were killed in the attacks.

However, Donald Trump, the U.S. president, on Thursday, 19 Mehr, denied reports about damage to the United States’ military aircraft.

In an interview with Newsmax, Trump said: “No. No damage was done. Nothing happened.”

Jordan’s army also announced that the Islamic Republic fired 20 ballistic missiles at this country, that 18 of them were intercepted and destroyed, and that two missiles fell in uninhabited areas. According to the Jordanian army, the attack caused no casualties.
