Night gatherings in squares are getting on people’s nerves!

A gathering that needs a eulogist (medah), a loudspeaker, a TV camera, catering, and a dedicated street to make it “spontaneous” is no longer spontaneous; it’s a government-run fan club!

The issue isn’t the right to assemble; the right to assemble belongs to everyone. The issue is discrimination: why can government supporters close streets with full protection, but the response to protesting people is batons, arrests, and bullets?
