My compatriots, great and brave Iranian nation,
Today, as tensions rise and there is a possibility that attacks will expand—especially in the south of the country—I want to speak with you; especially with the honorable people of Sistan and Baluchestan, Hormozgan, Bushehr, Khuzestan, and all residents of the coasts of the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Makran.
The war and crisis that our country is facing today has only one cause and perpetrator: the Islamic Republic regime.
But the main war—that is, the war of the Islamic Republic against the Iranian people—began forty-seven years ago and continues to this day.
All of Iran’s nation has been wounded by this regime. Let’s not allow them to claim that southern Iran has just entered the war. Southern Iran has been in the war since the day Baluch children were killed by “gandoos,” due to the lack of drinking water and basic infrastructure; from the day, in Sistan and Baluchestan, the land of Rostam and the heart of Iran’s myths, young people were forced to do fuel smuggling to secure their livelihood; from the day Hormozgan province and Bandar Abbas, the largest port in Iran, were left behind in poverty and deprivation; from the day Bushehr, which supplies a large part of the country’s gas, and Khuzestan, the heart of Iran’s oil industry, were left without a share of their wealth.
But a free Iran, an Iran different from this, will be.
With the establishment of a national, capable, and development-oriented government, Sistan and Baluchestan can become one of the main engines of growth and flourishing for the country, relying on its strategic position, young manpower, and access to open waters. Chabahar can become the heart of Iran’s trade and the gateway connecting the Indian Ocean, Central Asia, and global markets; by updating the same comprehensive plan that was supposed to be implemented before the 57 disaster.
Hormozgan, Bushehr, Khuzestan, and the islands of the Persian Gulf can become the richest and most advanced regions of Iran by developing trade, tourism, industry, and attracting investment.
My compatriots,
This war-mongering regime has built neither a shelter for the people nor the ability to defend the skies of the country. Its leaders, while hiding underground, use military tactics from schools, hospitals, and other civilian centers, and the people of Iran, including conscript soldiers, have been turned into human shields in barracks.
In the war that the Islamic Republic has imposed on the country, your first and most important duty is to protect your own life, security, and health, and those of your families. Because you are Iran’s capital and the real soldiers of the battle to reclaim the homeland.
In this regard, my office of communications and media will publish the necessary recommendations and guidance to increase the security of compatriots.
Struggle and readiness to achieve final victory is an enduring duty. In the final battle, the more capable we are, and the weaker the Islamic Republic is, the faster and less costly victory will be achieved.
Long live Iran
