On Monday, 29 Tir 1405 (2026), a number of serving personnel and retired employees of the Army’s Air Force Aviation gathered in front of the Kermanshah governorate building and protested the long-standing uncertainty surrounding their housing cooperative project.

According to the protesters, in 1390 (2011) they took action to get homes by forming the Air Force Aviation housing cooperative, purchasing land, and paying the related costs; however, nearly 15 years later, despite receiving the required permits, construction operations have still not begun.

Those taking part in the gathering say that their administrative follow-ups and previous rallies have not yielded results, and no responsible institution provides a clear answer about the fate of the plots of land and when the project will start.
