🔶 Mohammadreza Aref: Our response to the United States will be unbalanced and multilayered
Mohammadreza Aref, the First Vice President of the President of Iran, threatened the United States and said that in the coming months the country’s economy will face serious problems.
Aref on Thursday, 12 Shahrivar, by posting on the X network, accused the United States of carrying out “crimes against the Iranian nation,” and wrote that “this approach has changed the security equations and the defense doctrine of the Islamic Republic.”
Referring to a war with the United States, he added: “From now on, our response will be unbalanced, multilayered, and will remove the security of the aggressor.”
Aref also warned that Americans should be thinking about “saving gasoline and fuel, and dark months await the U.S. economy.”
This comes as a shortage of gasoline and fuel in Iran has led to the formation of long lines in front of petrol stations—especially for trucks—and the debate over raising the price of gasoline is still ongoing.
