Mohammad Rezaei, a member of the board of directors of the parliament, said on Thursday, 26 Shahrivar, that the Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened until the seven conditions of the Islamic Republic in the Islamabad agreement are met.

Rezaei said that the lifting of sanctions, the removal of the blockade, and the end of the war are among these conditions.

He accused the United States of violating the Islamabad agreement and said that Washington has continued the maritime blockade and sanctions against the Islamic Republic by creating insecurity and attacking areas of Iran.

Rezaei also said: “The United States should not interfere in the relations between the countries in the region and in matters related to the Strait of Hormuz, and regional issues should be resolved by the countries of the region.”
