Mehdi Nakhl-Ahmadi, journalist and political activist, in response to the message by Hossein Shabanzadeh, an editor, translator and activist on social networks who is in prison, said the Islamic Republic wants to remove from the scene those who in the past could have been the voice of society and the advocates for the suffering of the people, and to erase political prisoners from collective memory.
He added: “Calling the prison a hotel by Faezah Hashemi is not only a distortion of reality, but also ignoring the suffering of prisoners such as Hossein Shabanzadeh, who is in prison for putting a dot under a message from Ali Khamenei on the social network X.”
