Matthew Whitaker, the U.S. ambassador to NATO, said about Iran: “This country is bankrupt and they will not be able to pay the rights of any of their military personnel, public service employees, or government employees.”

He emphasized: “The people of Iran will not be satisfied with the current situation and should hold their government responsible. They must blame this government and, without a doubt, will be seeking change and a different path for the future.”
