Masoud al-Fak, an expert in Middle East affairs, says that, regarding the recent advances by the Houthis on the Red Sea coasts and the retreat of the forces of the legitimate Yemeni government from some areas, this should not be taken to mean their strategic defeat, and that the seizure of Al-Mukha and the surrounding areas does not mean the Houthis have established control over these areas.
