Mahmoud Mohammadi, head of online activists in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, said he has announced the implementation of a directive from the Supreme Council of Cyberspace for the “organizing of online activists” starting next week.

He said the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance will begin implementing this plan, and bloggers, influencers, and other online activists will be recognized within the framework of this process. According to Mohammadi, those who deviate from laws and regulations will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

Mohammadi also said that, based on this directive, responsibility for monitoring and managing the flow of content in cyberspace has been assigned to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).

According to him, this directive also provides for domestic social networks to receive special support, and for the cost of using foreign social networks to increase.
