🔻Lebanon’s army condemns Israel’s continued operations in the south

Lebanon’s army condemned Israel’s continued military operations in the south of the country and said these actions prevent the full deployment of the army’s forces in accordance with an agreement reached with Israel last month.

In a statement, Lebanon’s army said: “The Israeli occupying forces continue their attacks and violations of existing understandings and international laws, through the destruction of homes, bombardment, and firing with automatic weapons in several southern areas.”

The Lebanese army also emphasized: “The continuation of these attacks has been met with obstacles to the full deployment of the army based on current agreements and prevents the return of residents to their villages and cities.”
