⚡Antonio Tajani, Italy’s foreign minister, officially announced that the next round of negotiations between Israel and Lebanon, with U.S. mediation and facilitation, will be held in the city of Rome. He noted that earlier he had informed the governments of Lebanon and Israel of Italy’s readiness to support peace talks in the region and to host the negotiations. Earlier, Israel’s ambassador to the United States had said that the new round of talks between Israel and Lebanon will be held in Rome, Italy, on July 14 and 15 (23 and 24 Tir). The initial agreement between the two countries, known as the “Washington Peace Agreement,” was reached on Friday, the 5th of Tir 1405, after at least five rounds of direct and indirect negotiations between Israel and Lebanon with U.S. mediation.
