🔶 Iran’s attack on a power plant and a desalination facility in Kuwait

The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy of Kuwait said on Friday, 26 Tir (17 July) that one of the country’s power generation and desalination facilities had been targeted in an Iranian attack.

According to the ministry, the attack on the facility caused damage, triggered a fire, and also disrupted the operations of many power-generating units.

As stated by the ministry, firefighting forces managed to contain the fire, and technical teams are carrying out repair operations and bringing the damaged units back online.

Following the Islamic Republic’s attacks on countries in the region, Jordan also reported an Iranian missile attack. Based on a statement from the Jordanian armed forces, the country intercepted three Iranian missiles that were targeting Jordanian territory.
