Gulf stock markets fell in trading at the start of Wednesday, after the United States and the Islamic Republic carried out reciprocal attacks on the previous night.
Based on a Reuters report, the exchange of attacks dampened hopes for a rapid easing of tensions in the Middle East.
Based on a Business Recorder report, Saudi Arabia’s TASI index fell by two-tenths of a percent, and Abu Dhabi’s ADX index also dropped by three-tenths of a percent. Qatar’s index, however, rose despite the general trend and with support from higher oil prices.
