🔶 Eleventh Night of Attacks; Trump Says Operations Against Iran Will Continue
The U.S. Army announced that it has continued its attacks against Iran for the eleventh consecutive night. The attacks targeted “military operation centers, naval capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone depots, and military logistical infrastructure.”
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said the purpose of these attacks is to further weaken the Islamic Republic’s capability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
At the same time, Iran’s Islamic Republic Army said that, in the “twenty-first phase of Operation Ra‘ad (Thunderbolt),” it targeted American military bases in western Kuwait with drones from the Al-Duhoha (Al-Dawha) garrison. The army public relations office claimed that the attack targeted “important ammunition stores” and “logistical equipment of the command center of the Ground Forces.” This claim has not been confirmed so far by the United States or Kuwaiti officials.
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, also said that the military operation by Washington against the Islamic Republic “has not yet ended,” claiming that Iran would need “20 to 25 years” to rebuild the damage caused by the war.
