Donald Trump, the president of the United States, wrote on his social media platform “Truth Social” that if Iran carries out its threat of assassination or attempts to assassinate the U.S. president, a thousand missiles that have already been designated will be targeted toward Iran, and thousands of other missiles will also be launched immediately.

Trump added in his message that the U.S. army is prepared, if necessary, to target extensive parts of Iran.

At the ceremony for the funeral of Ali Khamenei, slogans and placards against Trump were seen, including the slogan “Kill Trump,” as well as images displaying a prize for his assassination.

Hours before his message, the U.S. president said that he is “number one on Iran’s list of assassinations.”

The network “CNN” also reported, citing two knowledgeable sources, that this week Israel provided the United States with information indicating that the Islamic Republic has recently prepared a specific plan to assassinate Donald Trump.
