🔶 CENTCOM: 100 ships diverted as part of Iran’s blockade framework
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said that its maritime blockade operation against Iran is ongoing, and that over the past two months, U.S. forces have diverted the routes of 100 commercial ships.
CENTCOM said the move was part of a blockade of Iran’s ports.
According to the command, over the past 60 days, 100 commercial ships traveling on routes connected to Iran’s ports were diverted by U.S. forces.
In its statement, CENTCOM referred to the operation as the “Steel Wall blockade against Iran.”
CENTCOM claimed that no ship has passed through the blockade without U.S. permission.
CENTCOM also said that American forces continue to be fully focused on the mission. The statement said: “U.S. personnel remain fully focused on this mission.”
