🔶 Attacks by U.S. Central Command end; Tehran, Tabriz, Semnan, and Khorramabad bombed
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced early on Thursday, 25 Tir (16 July) on the X platform that a new wave of airstrikes against its targets in Iran had ended.
According to CENTCOM’s data, U.S. forces targeted command centers, air defense systems, missile and drone facilities, as well as Iranian coastal surveillance centers, in order to reduce Tehran’s ability to threaten commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The strikes were carried out using precision-guided munitions, and multiple locations, including Bandar Abbas, were hit.
CENTCOM also said that earlier that same morning, U.S. forces, in a 90-minute operation, had targeted coastal defense positions and cruise missile sites on the island of Greater Tunb.
