American and Vietnamese companies are expected to announce dozens of agreements in the fields of energy, technology, aviation and finance next week, simultaneously with the trip of To Lam, Vietnam’s leader, to New York.

According to a Reuters report, an internal planning note lists 29 deals that will be announced on September 1 at a business conference in New York.

Energy companies Murphy Oil and Chevron will sign agreements with the state-owned PetroVietnam, and ExxonMobil will sign with Vietnam’s second-largest refinery.

SpaceX is expected to provide its Starlink satellite internet to 120 planes of company VietJet.
