Ali Madanizadeh, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, said that “developing relations with Russia” is included in the government’s plans, adding that Masoud Pezeshkian “has been seriously following up on the implementation of joint projects between Tehran and Moscow.”

According to the Mehr news agency, he said at a meeting titled “Consultation of Iranian economic activists residing in Russia” in Moscow: “In the wake of recent developments, deepening economic, trade, and financial relations for both countries has become more important.”

Madanizadeh said: “Securing essential goods from the Eurasian region, especially Russia, is a priority issue that we are seriously pursuing.”
