Al-Abdali border crossing, the main land border between Kuwait and Iraq, reopened on Sunday after three days of closure due to a drone attack.
Kuwait’s army had said that the Thursday attack caused only material damage and no casualties.
The reopening of the crossing took place after a trip by Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, Kuwait’s interior minister, to Basra, Iraq. During his meeting with Iraqi officials, he said that relations between the two countries are strong and that no side can affect them.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the drone attack on the crossing.
