🔶 A Guards Corps spokesperson announced Iran’s conditions for ending the war
The spokesperson of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps said that the end of the war depends on “the conditional acceptance of a six-point package by the opposing sides.”
Hussein Mehbi said that “the complete withdrawal of the Israeli army from Lebanese soil and the lifting of the blockade of Yemen” are key requirements of the Islamic Republic for ending the war.
On Wednesday, 18 Shahrivar, Hussein Mehbi also described “a complete halt to all military operations, guarantees for no repetition of threats against Iran, the release of $24 billion in the country’s frozen assets, and the cessation of any meddling actions against Iran’s missile and nuclear programs” as other vital conditions from Tehran for putting an end to the current situation.
Previously, Iranian media reported, citing Hussein Mehbi, that any vessel passing through the “prohibited zone” identified by Tehran near the Strait of Hormuz would be subject to exclusion from maritime and insurance services.
Reuters also reported that the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps has announced that the maritime area Iran is seeking begins from Chabahar and will extend to parts of the Sea of Oman and the Arabian Sea.
