I have recently been informed that Walmart, one of the largest, best, and smartest retailers in America, will significantly reduce the prices of its goods in response to my government’s request to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of our country. Walmart will specifically cut the price of every pound of ground meat by nearly 15%, and this reduction will also apply to many other products. This news is extremely important to the millions of Americans who shop intelligently at Walmart. Walmart is a truly patriotic company that loves America. My administration is lowering prices that Joe Biden, through his mismanagement and by creating the worst inflation crisis in history, fueled— a crisis that, alongside the southern border disaster, the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, and many other failures, was his legacy. As I promised, oil prices are falling rapidly and gas prices at stations are also going down; just like the price of eggs and prescription drugs, which I have reduced to record levels.
