🔸 Successful test of a “reusable rocket” in Japan
Japan, in line with the development of rockets capable of multiple launches and reducing costs in the space industry in this area, has taken a successful step and tested a reusable rocket.
The project manager at Japan’s space agency said in a discussion with reporters: “The rocket’s prototype was launched without any problems and landed on the ground.”
According to him, this flight lasted about 40 seconds, and the rocket rose during it to an altitude of roughly 10 meters.
The development of reusable rockets is expected to significantly reduce space navigation costs. From this point, Japan intends to catch up in this field with the American companies SpaceX and Blue Origin, which have been working on reusable rockets for some time.
It is also reported that the Japanese company Honda in June 2025 carried out a successful test of the launch and landing of a reusable rocket.
In recent days, China has also, for the first time, successfully returned part of a reusable rocket to the ground.
