🔶 Iran expands attacks to Bahrain, Kuwait and Iraqi Kurdistan; Jordan reports intercepting 10 Iranian missiles
As fighting between Iran and the United States intensifies, reports indicate drone and missile attacks on several locations in Bahrain, Kuwait and Iraq’s Kurdistan region.
Iran’s army said that, in response to U.S. attacks, the Sheikh Isa air base in Bahrain—according to Tehran, used by American forces—was targeted.
In a statement broadcast on Iran’s state television, it said that "aircraft hangars, parking areas, fuel tanks of the U.S. Army and several communication bridges" at this base were targeted. Iran described the Sheikh Isa base as "one of America’s most important operational and logistics centers" in the region.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also, in a statement, said that in the nineteenth wave of the “Nasar 2” operation, it targeted the U.S. fleet fuel-support pier in Al-Ahmadi port in Kuwait, the location of American military aircraft in Sheikh Isa in Bahrain, the “Battleco” intelligence data center in Bahrain, and a U.S. signals and communications center in Kuwait with drone and missile attacks.
