🚨 Imminent execution risk — #GolMohammad_Mohammadi
Golmohammad Mohammadi, a young protester from Isfahan, is in serious and immediate danger of execution. Arrested during the Isfahan protests, he is one of the 12 accused in the case known as “Aliqhani Square.” The Revolutionary Court has sentenced him to death on charges of “waging war against God” (moharebeh) and “corruption on earth” (efsad-e fel-arz). Mohammadi is currently being held in Handgard Prison in Isfahan, and in a troubling development, on Saturday, the 27th of Tir, along with 12 other prisoners, he was transferred to solitary confinement in order to carry out the sentence. Prison authorities have asked his family to come for a final visit—an action that indicates his inhumane execution sentence could be carried out at any moment and, most likely, in the early hours of Sunday. His family and close relatives are in an extremely critical state, waiting and worried, and have raised cries for justice to save their son’s life. Let’s be his voice before it’s too late.
