〰❌ CENTCOM announces the end of the third wave of attacks:
CENTCOM announced today the end of the third round of attacks on Iranian targets. “United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has concluded the third round of attacks against Iran this week, July 11, and held Iranian forces responsible for the attack on another commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.
Using precision munitions launched from fighter aircraft, drones, and maritime forces deployed from land and at sea, U.S. forces struck approximately 140 Iranian military targets. The targets included missile and drone sites, maritime capabilities, ammunition storage facilities, communications networks, and coastal surveillance locations.
Over the three nights of this week’s attacks, CENTCOM, at the direction of the Commander in Chief, struck more than 300 targets aimed at degrading Iran’s ability to attack noncombatant mariners and commercial vessels that freely transit through the Strait.
Since early May, U.S. forces have helped enable the successful passage of more than 800 commercial vessels and 400 million barrels of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz.”
