Bahrain’s army said that after air-raid sirens sounded in the early hours of the morning, it tracked and destroyed several airstrikes by the Islamic Republic.

In a statement, the Bahraini Joint Command of the Defence Forces described these strikes as part of what it called the “hostile and organized approach of the Islamic Republic against civilians.”

No details were released about the number of projectiles, the type of weapons, or any possible damage.

In this statement, the use of missiles and drones to target civilians was described as an open violation of international law.
