According to the Israeli army, commando forces identified a Hezbollah drone above an area in southern Lebanon where Israeli forces were present.
Following this identification, the Israeli Air Force launched a search operation around the town of Kafr Tabiht and managed to find several Hezbollah forces who were guiding this drone and had hidden near Israeli positions. The Israeli army announced that, to eliminate the threat to its personnel, it attacked these individuals and killed them.
