The Iraqi army has moved into position, forming columns, toward the main headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).

Fighting occurred between Iraqi military forces that attempted to enter a paramilitary forces base (PMF) in Baghdad.

However, they were unable to enter the base and withdrew before the situation worsened.
