The UN Security Council reviewed the latest developments in Syria’s chemical weapons file. In this meeting, it was reported that there has been significant progress in identifying remnants of the chemical weapons program of the Assad regime, that new information has been provided by the new Syrian government, and that the activities of the inspectors of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in this country continue.
