U.S. Central Command, CENTCOM, announced that U.S. forces changed course for 99 commercial ships by September 20 to ensure the full implementation of the U.S. maritime blockade against Iran.
CENTCOM, in a post on its X account, wrote that the USS Boxer, along with the Boxer amphibious group and the Marine Corps’ 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is participating in the operation to enforce this blockade.
In the image released, a U.S. Navy MH-60R Seahawk helicopter can be seen while preparing to land on the deck of the Boxer aircraft carrier.
