🔸U.S. CENTCOM announced, in a statement, that it had completed its overnight operation at 4:30 a.m. on Friday, Iran time.
🔸According to the statement, in this operation, which lasted about two and a quarter hours, military command centers, storage and maintenance facilities for drones, communication networks, radar and coastal surveillance sites, and maritime facilities in Iran were targeted.
🔸CENTCOM, like it did 12 nights ago, said that the purpose of these attacks is to reduce Iran’s threats against commercial ships and non-military seafarers passing through the Strait of Hormuz, and noted that despite the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ attacks on vessels, this international waterway remains open and ships transit with the support and accompanying of the U.S. Army.
