🔶 Trump: Iran is strongly trying to reach a deal; I will decide whether to enter negotiations
Donald Trump, the president of the United States, in his latest message on his Truth Social account, wrote with emphasis that Iran is strongly seeking a quick agreement with the United States. He stated that it is he who will decide “whether the United States will choose the option of entering talks.”
In another post, Trump attributed prices across the United States to the previous administration led by Democratic Joe Biden and wrote: “Even the price of oil during Biden was higher than the current price.”
Trump also repeated his claim that once the military conflict with Iran ends, the price of oil will fall sharply.
These remarks come after the news network “CNN” reported on Sunday, September 13, citing three informed sources, that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump wants that any future negotiations with Tehran focus on Iran’s nuclear program rather than reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
A U.S. official told CNN that Washington’s current position is to negotiate only on the nuclear file with Iran.
