Three months have passed since the end of the war, but its consequences still loom over Iran’s labor market, especially women’s employment. While women also had a small share in the labor market before the war, indications now show that the economic crisis and the post-war recession have put them at greater risk of unemployment, layoffs, and job insecurity than before.
