The United States is imposing sanctions on 7 individuals and entities that supported the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ weapons-supply program and provided the groundwork for Iran’s destabilizing actions. Despite our sincere efforts to implement the understandings, the Iranian government continues to threaten commercial shipping by attacking commercial vessels and commercial navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
