The United States, Britain, France, and Germany have prepared a draft resolution to be considered at the meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors, calling for the submission of resolutions regarding Iran’s non-compliance to the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly.

Based on the text of the draft, which Reuters has also seen, the Board of Governors once again asks Iran to remedy its non-compliance with the safeguards agreement as soon as possible by taking actions that the Agency and the Board consider necessary, so that the Director General can provide the necessary assurance regarding the correctness and completeness of Iran’s declarations and the absence of diversion of nuclear materials under safeguards.
