Statement by Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei: I tell our martyred leader; - O oppressed and noble one, with broken hearts we say goodbye to you and pledge to preserve your path and school, and continue with steadfastness in this way and not be afraid of hardships

- We pledge to avenge the pure blood of you and all the martyrs of these two wars from the criminal, dishonorable killers

- This revenge is the demand of our people and it will certainly be carried out

- These criminals must know that the wish for a peaceful death in a bed will be what they take with them to the grave

- This act is not dependent on me or other officials being present

- Whether we are here or not, this will happen, and soon the freedom-seekers across the world will each carry out part of this mission
