Richard Goldberg, senior analyst at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, wrote on the social media platform X that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is taking a stance of losing the escalation in politics, and that every day this institution is getting one step closer to collapse.

He wrote: “Every attack accelerates its defeat. Today, the IRGC is witnessing the gradual and systematic dismantling of its fleet of oil tankers, while its air fleet is also facing the risk of being grounded due to the threat of sanctions.”
