Reuters reported that, based on data from Kpler, the number of oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz fell to one vessel on July 23, the lowest level since May 7 to date. According to the report, on that day only one oil tanker transited the Strait of Hormuz and no ship entered the waterway.
At the same time, the price of oil once again reached $100 per barrel. Reuters also reported that Saudi Aramco has begun supplying additional shipments of crude oil from the Egyptian port of Sidi Kerir in order to bypass shipping restrictions.
