🔻Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, attended a press conference on the first day of the Board of Governors meeting.

The Board of Governors is expected, in its new session, to decide on a resolution by three European countries that called for sending Iran’s case to the UN Security Council.

Regarding Donald Trump’s threat about an attack on Mount Klen, Rafael Grossi said: “I’m a diplomat and I don’t comment on decisions taken at the national level.”

He, however, emphasized: “We need Iran to cooperate, and we can’t say do this and don’t do that. But the lesson we learned is that we must trust diplomatic solutions.”

Mr. Grossi also said that non-cooperation for Iran has “consequences.”

He said that Iran says that the facilities were damaged, but it must say exactly what damage there was, and that was the basis of the Cairo agreement.

After the trigger mechanism was activated, Iran annulled the Cairo agreement.
