The Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it is concerned about the escalation of tensions between the Islamic Republic and the United States.

Based on the ministry’s statement, the current situation is unfavorable and Islamabad remains engaged in the process of talks. The Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that it hopes the two sides will return to the negotiating table.

Pakistan, alongside Qatar and Oman, is one of the main mediators between the Islamic Republic and the United States.
