No separate meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping is planned on the sidelines of the BRICS summit, with the leaders expected to talk briefly during the event, Kremlin Aide Yury Ushakov said.

Ushakov noted that Putin and Xi agreed to hold substantive talks in November on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in the Chinese city of Shenzhen.
