🔶 New U.S. Security Alert for Its Citizens Worldwide Amid Escalating Tensions With Iran
The U.S. Department of State once again issued a security alert, asking American citizens around the world to exercise “greater caution and vigilance” due to the escalation of tensions with Iran.
In the security alert issued early Tuesday, July 21 (Tir 30), it was stated that “given the increase in tensions in the Middle East, the security situation remains complex and there is a possibility of unexpected escalation.”
The U.S. State Department recommended that its citizens present in the Middle East be prepared for the possibility of flight cancellations, periodic closures of airspace, and potential travel disruptions. It also asked American citizens outside the Middle East to reconsider travel to this region and transit routes.
The ministry warned that the Islamic Republic and groups that support it may target U.S. interests abroad or locations worldwide that are associated with the United States and American citizens.
